Hi ya Gorgeous!
TGIF!
Whoa. Okay. I can explain. No need for excuses. Though here it goes. In the beginning of 2017, I said I would only be posting on Monday due to my busy schedule with my feature film, Jael A Western Tale.  I am finished with the script, there are still a few roles to cast and then, the forever list of details that need to be managed and completed to get us to production!
You can learn more about it on it’s Facebook page here: http://facebook.com/jaelawesterntaleThis week, the focus is on the Influenster Vox Box from Lancome. Oh such sweet goodies!

I received these products for free as a gift to review and give my honest opinion. I can honestly say that I don’t really like the liquid form of the foundation but this stick is a dream! It’s a semi matte finish and dries down powdery without caking in face creases. Bonus! Then the concealer is thicker than my normal  brand but for those who need more coverage, I think you will enjoy the consistency, coverage and wear time! Which is long! I’m amazed by the click highlighter pen which when you click the button on the end it oozes out a bit of rose and gold shimmer liquid which more like a veil wash of color and highlight than an actual highlight powder or cream. I used it all over my face!  Finally, the lip gloss is light and can be work alone, over a lipstick or lip liner. It’s so versatile and perfect for your spring and summer looks! So like Lancome says, Don’t Glow It Alone!

Get yours at a Lancome counter near you or visit http://lancome.com

So part of my current over whelm is that while I am watching my feature film slowly … oh … so…slowly make it’s way to production, I did a documentary in the mean time. It was like taking a job on top of a job!

It’s completed and finishing up it’s distribution deal now, funny, how it’s easier to place a true story versus a fiction one!

This photo shows Purequosa. Otherwise known as  a stinky gal who swears she is not a germaphobes new best friend!

I received a sample from them to test and it came at the best time ever! I was en route from one NASCAR race in Las Vegas to another in Phoenix and it went from hot to hotter. This colloidal silver spray with essential oils is amazing! I used it on the surface of some places, in the air in others, on my skin and in my mouth for a freshening up!

It’s available on Amazon right now – and if you have kids, pets, relatives, a house, a car, armpits and yuck mouth – you need this! Your spring break will thank you!

Finally, my favorite segment, “What Are You Reading” this week!  I’m re-reading the #BeMore book by Sandi Krakowski.  I love it’s bite sized nuggets of inspiration and wisdom. Get yours on Amazon today! http://amzn.to/2nJjKeh

Hi ya Gorgeous!Thank you for joining me! I know I have mentioned previously that I am missing the daily writing though enjoying the process of working on my feature film and now, when it comes to products to review I am super choosy about who and what I work on.  This week’s products are totally amazois and I know you will love them – especially if you enjoy plant based products!

I know many of you are enjoying your spring breaks this week and next- please remember to wear sunscreen!

Now, meet Karite Shea Butter!

Karité’s dermatologist-created products feature natural ingredients
such as high concentrations of raw, unrefined shea butter and palm oil
sourced directly from Ghana, as well as unrefined organic coconut oil.
Using a unique technology to blend these ingredients, Karité is able to
produce non-toxic products for maximum skin hydration and nourishment.

This one-of-a-kind combination of natural botanicals provides
antioxidant, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory benefits that results in
unparalled moisture that soothes and heals even the most sensitive
skin.
Our team is led by a top-ranked dermatologist. Together, our vision is to bring the many benefits of shea butter to you.  Get yours at http://mykarite.com

Now let’s talk hair. I used to have super stick straight smooth hair until I had my son, now I’ve got wavy fuzzy kinda curly hair! If I want straight hair, I have to use a smoothing serum and hot iron, until now!

I just met this brand, Eprouvage and it’s active plant based formula makes for natural hair smoothers in the smoothing shampoo and conditioner.  Get yours at Ulta Beauty locations nationwide in the USA.

A replenishing and detangling conditioner that
provides hydration to unruly hair. This formula nourishes and hydrates
for sleek, manageable hair. Formulated with our Progressive Plant Cell
Technology for healthier looking hair and scalp.

Benefits

  • Restores hydration and nourishes dry, unruly hair.
  • Gently detangles without weighing hair down.
  • Replenishes moisture and improves manageability.
A smoothing shampoo that gently cleanses while
providing optimal softness and shine. Hair is left feeling healthy and
smooth without weigh down. Formulated with our Progressive Plant Cell
Technology for healthier looking hair and scalp.

Benefits

  • Cleanses hair and scalp while restoring hydration.
  • Tames dry, tired strands for frizz-free, sleek styles.
  • Increases hair’s resistance to breakage.

Ok, before you get into the video, let me just say, that this is the third and final time that I will be recommending the Tim Ferris book Tools of Titans.

It’s available on Amazon now, for $16 and this book is a tool for training yourself to do better in every area of your life from stories of people who have already excelled in those areas! You need this book!

Now, let’s get into this week’s video!

Hi ya Gorgeous!
How you doin’ these days?
I was just thinking to myself, I’m really liking the weekly digest, though I also like being more choosy of the brands I work with since now I have so little space to write – I only say yes to the weird and wonderful. Let that be  a clue to you about what is coming your way! Now, this week,  I am introducing you to LAFCO New York: Luxury Articles & Fragrance Co!  The body creme and hand creme are amazing!

These Italian crafted body products are rich, thick, luxurious with a fresh scent and not greasy! There are several fragrances to choose from – I have the Mint Tisane and it’s spring break perfect! Oh. But wait. Not yet. Weird, though my son’s spring break is at the end of April, three weeks before school gets out. Seriously?

Get your own LAFCO online here http://lafco.com

In the video I have what I consider, the most important makeup tip ever! So watch it!

Now, 2017 for me is a year to get back to reading a book a week. It’s doable for me and pushes me to learn something new, strengthen old skills and keep moving forward.

This week I am re-reading Change Agent by Os Hillman. I picked this up at the Hollywood Prayer Network a few years back when I attended a prayer meeting at The Garland in Studio City California. Whoa. The book is great – though for me personally the big take away was that hotel.

It’s so old skool Hollywood glam at the base of Universal Studios. I loved it! They have “dive-in” movies and it’s my dream to take the cast and crew there and screen our film Jael A Western Tale there and then binge watch  the Tremors series while floating in the pool sipping something bubbly! A gal can dream can’t she?

Now enjoy the video! Remember to subscribe if you haven’t already!

These body and hand creams retail for $35 and can be found at http://www.lafco.com

Enjoy the teaching tip and please share in the comments how you wash your brushes!

This week’s book read is: Change Agent by Os Hillman
Get it! It’s good!

Thank you for watching!

Holla Beauties!

Whether we like it or not, the holidays are here and now is the time to start planning for hand made crafts and gifts to give.

Especially be thinking and remembering all the service people in your life that will need wee tokens of remembrance during the holiday season such as your mail carrier, hair dresser, school teachers, and even your neighborhood barista or bar tender!

The littlest of gestures in kind can lift a heavy heart! So give gifts!
