Hi all!
I’m excited to watch the People’s Choice Awards show hosted by Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory because I think the show is a good measure of what people really like and are really watching.

So I’m a big fan of Person of Interest with Jim Caviezel but on accident I started watching Once Upon A Time with Ginnifer Goodwin. I’m really liking the show and plan to tune in again.

I created this short how to video to get a Snow White in the forest look as seen on the show. Enjoy!

Hello Gorgeous!
The American Music Awards-or AMA’s for short were on and the looks were interesting, but nobody stood out until Katy Perry took the stage in a dress that was vintage in design pattern but neoprene like a wetsuit mixed with pleathery pink bodice and rhinestone studded spandex-or so it looked to me.
I love the dress design minus the big cleavage spot-too distracting.
Her hair and makeup is perfect-and so retro, and so gorgeous!
Now-I’ve done a makeup tutorial, and though I know how to roll my own hair, I suggest you watch a You Tube tutorial on how to do your own.
Enjoy this short video-and the products used in it are:
Foundation: Murad Skin Perfecting Primer in dewy finish
Blush: Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink
Eyeshadows: Smashbox In Bloom Palette
Eyebrows: GloMinerals Sable shadow
Eyeliner: Sheer Cover Cream Eyeliner in Espresso
Lip liner: NYC #954
Lipstick: Milani: 112 Vivacious Fuschia

Now, enjoy this short video of the goodies that have come to the blog as samples and which would make great 2011 summer beauty items for you!
I’ll see you out by the pool, on the road, at the waterpark, perhaps the movies and maybe even a yogurt shop too! Mancub and I are so into making our own yogurt mix with toppings-it’s redonkulous!
Enjoy the video and special thanks to:

Hi Gorgeous! Argghhh! Matey!
Welcome my model Teddy who in a few short photos is going to get his Captain Jack Sparrow look on and be ready for the premeire of Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.
In this first photo, the face is clean and moisturized.

Next I apply ‘sunburn’ to his cheeks using Milani baked eyeshadow in “I Heart You”.
Captain Jack Sparrow photos seem to always show him with a bit of flush to his cheeks and it’s either a sunburn or the rum!

Next I use Luminess Airbrush tanning system to brown and bronze over the sunburn of the cheeks and just give the fair skin a very sun kissed tan look.
*Note* This Luminess Airbrush tanning system is so easy to use! Stay tuned for a how to video!

I begin to apply Captain Jack Sparrow’s defining facial hair. I mention it in the video-I bought at the last minute from a party shop a “Jack” facial hair kit-but it has the consistency of a rug!
To do it over, I suggest and plan to visit the real costume shop/theatre makeup place and get some spirit gum and a moustache, soul patch, and goatee.

While the glue is setting-sort of-but not very well-I begin to apply the trademark eyeshadow/eyeliner of Captain Jack Sparrow. It at first appears messy and smudgey but it is actually very precise!
1. I rim the eye with Makeup Designory Moss shadow
2. I use Ardell black matte shadow to ‘line’ over the Moss shadow which is a green gold fleck shadow. In the still photos of Johnny Depp it sometimes

brown? Sometimes purple? I just happened to have this gorgeous green on hand! Use the color you feel best in!
3. I take Sheercover Espresso Shot creme eyeliner and make the defined line around the eye.

Now! Half way there! I have one eye made up
and the other is being done in the how to video.
I add on the hair extensions. I am using my dark brown Dancing with the Stars pieces. There are two layers of Go!Go! on him. I did some braids and added a few pieces. I can’t seem to tell in the photos what that bone/defeathered looking feather is that hangs off the top of Capt. Jack’s bandana.
Now, the look is complete and Teddy is ready
for a Pirates of the Caribbean 4 movie premiere party!
On a side note-getting your pirate on is for any age, race, size, shape, or gender!
Here is my Mancub-in full Captain Jack Sparrow HMU!
No rum for the kid though!
Enjoy the how to video and I’ve also posted the funny trailer for the movie. I like that it’s not the traditional scene by scene trailer. Enjoy!

Hello Gorgeous! Kate Middleton is getting married in a few hours!

Here is a short photo tutorial of a simple bridal look for going from commoner at one moment to
a royal princess in the other!
I’m using primarily all Borghese products in the photos.
The foundation is a mineral powder called Milano in Light by Borghese.

Next I apply my brows with Sophia by Brow Diva.
Then it’s onto eyes with Borghese Amalfi Coastal Plums.
The colors are rich and wear really well-plus take great pictures!

The lightest shade in the center is all over the eye and on the brow bone.
Then the right shade, which is a taupe tone is all over the lid and I contour with the left shade which is the darkest.

I’m using my own brushes which are a mix of Smashbox, Arbonne and of course, Brow Diva!

Now, I do not know who is doing Kate Middleton’s makeup and hair for the wedding. Let alone what products are being applied-but I’m sure all of the details will come out tomorrow after the ceremony!

Now here is the kicker! I’m using the Milani eyeliner in purple to bring out my green eyes. Kate’s eyes look like a sparkly green/blue hazel, soa
purple shade will make them appear more so!

I’m finishing my face with simple blush contouring using Borghese Blush Milano in Rosa Billante.
Of course, I have dusted my face with Makeup Forever HD powder to set everything.
Now if I was truly walking down the aisle at this moment I would reset my makeup with Skindinavia heat proof makeup spray.

I line my lips with a nude liner, and then finish the entire look with Borghese B Moisture lipstick in Pinkissima.
In my opinion, you can never have enough shades of pink lipstick or lipgloss.
The photo you don’t see is I have applied a set of false lashes and sealed it with L’Oreal Voluminous
mascara.
So there it is ! The look of or possibly, a bride to be going from commoner to royal in a day!
It reminds me of the Bible story of a nation, Israel, being built in a day! Miracles really do happen! All the time!
Now, the real question is-now that I have all this makeup on-and I pick up Mancub from school…what to do and wear to go?
Enjoy the royal wedding coverage. There is a link at
bottom of this post. It starts at 3 a.m. in the United States. I’m not staying up or getting up for it-but plan to catch it once the coffee is ready at 6.
