I also think that Phillip is alive at the bottom of the sea with Syrena because she kissed him! Which in mermaid lore means he can now breathe underwater.

I enjoyed the sample that was sent to the blog and had an easy time using it. I do have prior airbrush experience was a makeup artist and this may have contributed to my ease? I really like that there was so much hose to use! I had one boo boo and the that is the pigment bottle fell off and made a bit of a mess on the tile-thank goodness I did not have light colored carpet! Now, I had a good experience, though I have seen some reviews of poor customer service from the product fulfillment house and compressors that didn’t work when they arrived and being charged shipping to have a replacement shipped out. I hope you don’t have that experience but instead enjoy your at home airbrush tan and are happy with it too!
Everything comes in the kit: the power system, ac adapter, stylus, 2 pigment bottles and a cleaning bottle plus a handy little bag to carry it all in!

The Arizona Tattoo Expo is in it’s 11th year!
The doors are open til 11 p.m. too!
Mancub and I went today after work and had a look around.
Lots of merchandise to supply your tattoo shop with plus other fun vendors to shop with from classic Dia De Los Muertos art to fancy hair flowers. Which I bought!
The show is hosted by Sage and Liz from Urban Art Tattoo.
Though tattoo shops from all over the country are represented by their best artists-some big like Club Tattoo and some small.
Now if you love classic black and grey work-world renown and pioneer tattoo artist Tony Oliveras from Sacred Heart in Tucson Arizona is at the convention and taking appointments. I did take a picture but forgot to ask and guessing by the look on his face-he was not to happy about it. So I’m choosing not to post that one!

If you haven’t-here’s a spoiler-there are mermaids in the story and they aren’t the kind that just lay around and sunbathe!
Speaking of sunbathe…this month is National Skin Cancer Awareness month.
Fair skinned people and mermaids alike still want the gorgeous, deep bronze of a sun kissed summer. How do you get the golden glow without the melanoma?
Easy. Try Fake Bake products!
Here is recent skin cancer survivor and friend Marti-who as you can see, has fair skin. She is also practicing sun safety by not using a tanning bed, or sun bathing.
Instead, to get a mermaid/pirate tan-one that goes anywhere without streaks and is great for active people is the Fair formulation from Fake Bake.
Marti used the product and had the genius to label her photos on the ‘inside’ of the picture instead of me tagging them on the outside. Makes more sense doesn’t it? I just learned something!

I didn’t use this on my legs because from all the running and biking outside in the Arizona sun…I have a wicked set of sun tan lines mixed with sock lines.

It had a mild smell and rubbed in easily. The lotion itself was so dark I was a little worried about the end result. Surprisingly, my legs felt moisturized for several hours after applying. I applied before bed and the lotion did not rub off on my sheets. I forgot how much I love being tan. This way I won’t stir up the nasty skin cancer again! Thanks for letting me be a guinea pig!
